ateneo lady eagles, thanks for giving us a treat yesterday! it was a very entertaining, pulsating match against the lady spikers... in the words of mozzy ravena, "naiiyak na ako (sa excitement)!" team captain alyssa valdez was her usual strong self but full credit to amy ahomiro who brought on the goods at crucial moments. michelle morente also had her moments, while julia morado definitely showed the mature side of her game after some wobbly play in the 4th set. and of course, my other favorite, dennise lazaro!! now that they've defeated the strong lasallians, my ultimate wish is to see alyssa and the girls take home the title this saturday. the sudden death match will be a test of wills and i really do hope to see the blue belles win it all.
