a great adventure in 20 pesos! yes, i had a great time exploring this three-tiered wonder in bato, catanduanes in january. maribina falls is accessible via virac, all you have to do is take the tricycle from virac, get off at its marker and walk towards its entrance.
when i got there, no one was there except for a group of locals gathering wood. i had the falls all to myself for a good 2.5 hours before a group of young kids ventured in its cold waters, diving and doing all sort of somersaults.
hunger came knocking so off i went back to virac town proper to grab some lunch. more about my catanduanes sojourn!
