my trip to phuket was the highlight of this year's june. we first saw a good deal in phuket's secret cliff resort and restaurant before booking the cebu pacific flight to bangkok. thereafter, we booked our orient thai flight from bangkok to phuket.
our stay in secret cliff was a pleasant one. we were assigned to one of the superior garden-view rooms on the resort's hillside (across the street). the resort has a multicab that takes guests to and from the hill rooms to the dining and reception areas. staff were courteous enough but could still be improved. the food was good although the drinks and cocktails are pretty pricey. the resort is in between karon and patong beaches, but one would still need a taxi or multicab to go to either one of these beaches. our taxi driver 'though found it hard to locate the resort, probably because it is fairly new. the area is not at all crowded. for laidback and adventure-less vacation, this is a good place to relax.
