one of the few stops when in guimaras is the Trappist monastery in jordan. after some localized version of cenakulo in jordan, we went to the monastery. unfortunately for us, the gift shop and the monks' pasalubong store was closed. it was, after all, good friday. since we could get a sample of the famed trappist mango bars, we just walked around the monastery, snapped some pics and headed to nueva valencia.
